As the old showbiz saying says, “never work with kids or animals.”Some photographers have a similar opinion.
A few weeks ago, I was sent to take images of a woman and her family of golden retrievers for a story by Herald lifestyles writer Trent Edwards about the companionship canines provide.
I was sorting through some old photos on my laptop and thought they deserved to be shared.
It was near impossible, in the time allowed, to get them settled down for long enough to get a couple of photos. It took a while but fun was had with the beautiful, friendly pups.
I’d be lying if they didn’t make me ask myself, why I don’t have a dog of my own.
