Ryan McConnel (above photo) walked away from his ride atop ‘Pop Evil’ with Saturday’s top prize money after staying on the bull for the allotted eight seconds. McConnel walked away with an extra $5,500 in his pockets for his day’s work.
Such is life for the competitors at the Calgary Stampede rodeo – even the winners have to take their punishment.
